FU december, easily the worst month of the year and the worst month ive had ever tbh. Thankfully a 30BI heater over my last 2 days brought me back to even. Didnt play my A game throughout the middle, was trying new things and not feeling good while running 70BIs < EV. Anyway, doing a 2k10 write-up tomorrow so stay tuned.

November results

November 2010 wrap-up

Pretty happy with November. Finally had a nice heater. Didnt look at my red-line all month and I was really surprised to see how low it was. I knew I ran hot during the middle, but I didnt expect the difference to be so big. I think I played really well and obviously ran into some super std coolers. Still need to do more reviews and see if im leaking. I've been 9 tabling all month and its helped my game a lot, being able to take solid notes and really concentrate on some tough decisions is essential at these stakes and im happy sacrificing a few games/hr to do that at the moment.

Little bit sad that I dropped 20BIs in the last few days to miss out on my first 10k month, but if I didnt waste a few days playing black ops I would have probably made it.

Looking forward to a strong December to finish off a fantastic 2k10.

So, two main goals. I want to up my volume and stop being so results oriented. Plenty of people run worse than me I'm super proud of where I am right now playing these games and very confident I can beat them. The only thing stopping me from crushing is my own mental toughness and focus.

I've entered a little fun prop bet with a buddy of mine myselfFTW (he plays mid-stakes). We are doing our best NOT to look at the red-line the entire month. Every time we take a peek we have to ship the other person $5.

The illustrious 10k month is SO CLOSE. I can taste it...

October review

October 2010 wrap-up

Not a good month. actually its the worst month 'luck' wise ive ever had. Starting to feel like a true pro now . Anyway, got crushed all month in the 36s, ran good in the 24s. and doing pretty good on the 60s-119s.

dropped back to 9 tabling recently and really concentrating hard on playing my AAA+++ game. seems to be working out for me so far, having a nice +1k day to finish off the month and put me in the green.

60s block 2 and my 119s are off to a rough start. but hopefully I can pull them into the green in the next few days.

Really want to work on my volume and work ethic for next month, not 100% happy with it. Also my coachings have been really taking off. Got a few new students and had some really productive sessions discussing hands and strategies, so that adds a nice $1k boost to the bottom line which im not putting in the stats for consistency.


Anyway here are the numbers. I've added in some new stats to the list to accurately track my FTP value per month.

I don't update this blog as much as my other one, I have a blog over on pokerstrategy.com that I update more often. Here its just  the major posts, I mainly use it to keep track of all the blogs I read.
